I am used to meeting clients from multicultural backgrounds. Some live abroad and others are temporary residents in Sweden.
Different cultures have different norms and customs that provide a wealth of unique cultural experiences but that can also create stress, disorientation and difficulties when adapting to a new environment. Guidance and coaching are a great support for finding constructive solutions in these challenging times.
My interest in cultural differences and similarities, together with my research background and teaching experience of values, norms, gender equality and cultural comparisons enables me to relate to every client’s individual circumstances.
I normally meet clients at my private practice in central Stockholm or via online video. It is also easy to arrange a mix of meetings in person and online.
Conducting confidential conversations with clients rightly places considerable demands on quality and responsibility. I have a duty to maintain client confidentiality, provide patient insurance and adhere to all current professional ethical principles and legislation for psychologists.
I am a member of the Swedish Psychological Association, the Swedish National Association of Psychotherapy Centers, the Swedish Association of ISTDP (Intensive Short-term Dynamic Psychotherapy) and the Swedish Association of Work and Organisational Psychologists.
